SAP IT - FI Specialist

As a SAP IT - FI Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying our clients Global (S/4HANA) SAP System across the Asia region.

The FI Consultant will also provide daily support to Finance users working on both the Global (S/4HANA) and Legacy (ECC) SAP Systems, collaborating closely with Finance key users and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support SAP deployment projects as the IT Regional Solution Owner (iRSO) Finance.
  • Act as an internal consultant, managing SAP projects, implementations, and rollouts based on the planned schedule and approach.
  • Work alongside Regional Process Specialists (RPS) Finance to implement global SAP templates across legal entities in Asia.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP FI sub-modules to optimize regional operations.
  • Support SAP system upgrades, including hands-on experience with SPAU activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams to resolve issues and support change management initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in end-to-end SAP Finance implementations, including hands-on system configuration.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (N3 or above) and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI sub-modules: FI-AP (Accounts Payable), FI-AR (Accounts Receivable), FI-GL (General Ledger), FI-AA (Asset Accounting), FI-BL (Bank Accounting), and TRM (Treasury and Risk Management).
  • Experience with template implementations and S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP development, including print document technologies (SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe).
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel for project-related work when required.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and push projects through in a constructive manner.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage conflicts effectively.
