About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to own and optimize the operational infrastructure supporting company's commercial teams within the Customer Success and Support organization.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical, process-driven, detail-oriented operator who can turn business requirements into scalable systems, clean processes, accurate reporting, and automation-led execution.

You will own the implementation and governance of key commercial processes, including CRM configuration and hygiene, lead assignment workflows, reporting infrastructure, sales operations automation, and cross-functional operational projects. You will also manage a team and ensure that leadership has accurate, timely, and actionable visibility into commercial performance.

Revenue Operations and Process Ownership

  • Own the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of operational processes across our Customer Success and Support department.
  • Translate leadership-defined business requirements into scalable workflows, CRM configurations, reporting structures, and operational procedures.
  • Own lead assignment processes, CRM routing logic, lifecycle stages, pipeline hygiene, data quality, and operational compliance within our CRM.
  • Identify process gaps, execution risks, and operational inefficiencies before they become recurring problems.
  • Build and maintain clear process documentation for commercial workflows, tools, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure operational processes are consistently followed, audited, and improved across all relevant teams.

CRM, Tools, and Automation

  • Own the day-to-day configuration, optimization, and governance of CRM across the relevant commercial teams.
  • Build, improve, and maintain workflows, automations, properties, dashboards, permissions, routing logic, and operational controls.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools that improve sales productivity, reporting accuracy, automation, and process efficiency.
  • Use automation tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms to reduce manual work and improve operational execution.
  • Partner with technical stakeholders when needed, while remaining hands-on in configuring tools and building practical automations.
  • Support the integration of tools and data flows across the commercial technology stack.

Reporting, Analytics, and Business Insights

  • Own the creation, accuracy, and continuous improvement of sales and revenue operations reporting.
  • Build dashboards and reports that give leadership clear visibility into team performance, pipeline health, activity quality, conversion trends, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Use BI and reporting tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, HubSpot reporting, or similar platforms.
  • Perform advanced analysis across CRM, sales, and operational data to identify issues, explain trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, actionable, and trusted by leadership.
  • Move beyond KPI monitoring by providing strategic recommendations based on data, operational context, and business priorities.

AI and Operational Efficiency

  • Drive an automation-first and AI-enabled approach to sales operations.
  • Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone workflows that can be automated through AI tools, agents, workflows, or system configuration.
  • Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Clay, or other AI-enabled platforms to improve productivity, reporting, updates, data enrichment, and operational execution.
  • Stay current with emerging AI and automation tools that can improve commercial operations.
  • Help the department reduce dependency on manual reporting, repetitive follow-ups, and fragmented operational processes.

Project Management and Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead multiple operational projects simultaneously, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, documentation, follow-through, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects assigned by leadership or cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across departments when required.
  • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and implementation quality across operational initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are completed with strong attention to detail and minimal need for repeated correction.

Team Management

  • Manage a team supporting commercial operations and reporting.
  • Set clear expectations, priorities, operating rhythms, and quality standards for the team.
  • Review team outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and business relevance.
  • Build a culture of ownership, precision, proactivity, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Operations, Business Operations, Strategy Operations, or a closely related function.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot configuration, reporting, workflows, CRM governance, and sales process implementation.
  • Advanced reporting and analytics capability, with experience building dashboards and translating data into business recommendations.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to configure tools, build workflows, and understand integrations across commercial systems.
  • Experience with tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to spot data inconsistencies, process gaps, reporting errors, and documentation issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI agents to automate operational workflows.
  • High ownership, strong judgment, reliability, and a proactive approach to solving problems.

Preferred

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with senior leadership.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, RevOps, Sales Ops, or commercial operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of sales operations processes, CRM hygiene, lead generation, pipeline management, activity tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Experience using BI or reporting tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Retool, or similar platforms.
  • Project management, CRM, BI, automation, or process improvement certifications.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and data flow between commercial tools.
  • Experience supporting high-growth startup or scale-up environments.
