Role Overview

The People Team Lead is a strategic partner to the Country Head and management team, responsible for driving both the strategic and operational aspects of Human Resources.

This role plays a critical part in shaping people strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness, strengthen leadership capability, and support long-term business growth in Thailand. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders while leading the People Team across HR operations, talent management, employee engagement, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Advisory

  • Serve as a key advisor to the Country Head on all people-related matters, including organisation design, leadership development, and workforce planning.

  • Act as a strategic consultant to the management team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to influence business decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with regional and group People teams to localise and execute strategic people initiatives.

  • Proactively anticipate organisational needs and develop people strategies aligned with business priorities and cultural evolution.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the People Team into a high-performing, consultative HR function.

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across recruitment, HR operations, engagement, and people analytics.

  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.

HR Operations Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and reporting.

  • Strengthen governance by ensuring SOPs, processes, and documentation meet local and regional standards.

  • Champion digital transformation and AI adoption to improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.

Talent & Organisation Development

  • Lead strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development initiatives.

  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent across the organisation.

  • Partner with leaders on performance management, career development, and talent calibration.

  • Identify and develop future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and customised development pathways.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Act as a steward of the organisations culture and values, ensuring they are embedded in everyday practices.

  • Oversee employee engagement programmes, internal communications, and events that foster belonging and motivation.

  • Serve as an advocate for both leadership and employees, balancing business needs with employee well-being and morale.

People Analytics & Reporting

  • Leverage people data and insights to support decisions related to organisation design, retention, and engagement.

  • Provide regular dashboards, insights, and recommendations to the Country Head and management team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or HR business partner role.

  • Proven experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior management.

  • Strong knowledge of HR strategy, compensation frameworks, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable people strategies.

  • Experience in tech, gaming, or other fast-paced environments is preferred.

  • Fluency in both Thai and English.

  • Passion for gaming or digital products is an advantage.
