Costing Manager – Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee a robust cost accounting framework to ensure accurate product costing at both SKU and production batch levels.

  • Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead, using appropriate allocation methodologies.

  • Manage cost structures and Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Perform standard cost reviews and analyze variances between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

  • Review and reconcile inventory movements to ensure accurate valuation of Raw Materials (RM), Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on production costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and related analysis for management decision-making.

  • Oversee inventory counts for raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring proper cost recording and reporting.

  • Evaluate production efficiency and operational performance to support continuous cost improvement initiatives.

  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • At least 8 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.

  • Professional certifications such as CPA and/or CFA are advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems or cost management platforms.

  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
