About the Opportunity
The IT and Security Engineer will oversee all IT and information security activities for the Thailand entity, providing hands-on support to local employees while coordinating with the head office to ensure alignment and compliance with IT, cybersecurity, and risk management policies.
This role is responsible for maintaining Thai SEC regulatory compliance and implementing global security best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong Fintech domain expertise and a proven track record of collaborating with global teams to effectively communicate local requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities

Global Collaboration: Partner with global IT and security teams to align and ensure consistency across regions.

Cyber Security Operations: Respond to escalations from Security Operations Teams for threat detection and incident response, coordinating with global teams.

Vendor Oversight: Manage third parties from both IT and Cyber Security risk perspectives in line with SEC and global policies.

Training: Implement local and global IT and security awareness programs for employees and users.

Security Baseline: Ensure locally managed systems adhere to global and local security policies and standards; conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance.

Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in person, or via email, chat, and video calls.

Troubleshooting: Handle issues related to Windows/macOS, Google Workspace, Office 365, WiFi, and network connectivity.

Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning.
Requirements

10 years in IT Infrastructure Management, with 5+ years in cybersecurity (preferably in fintech/crypto) and experience working with global teams.

Understanding of Thai SEC digital asset regulations; knowledge of global frameworks (e.g., SOC2/SSC v9) is a plus.

Thorough knowledge of Networking, Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Expertise in AWS and Google Cloud Services.

Self-starter with strong communication and cross-border collaboration skills.

Fluent in English and Thai; Mandarin proficiency is a bonus.
