A fast-growing distributor of medical instruments and life science solutions, specializing in advanced technologies for rapid DNA/RNA sequencing. The company operates regionally across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
Currently, Velgen Technik is expanding its NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) portfolio and seeking a strong Sales Manager to lead growth and support operations in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities
-
Drive sales growth of NGS products across Thailand (hospitals, laboratories, research institutes).

Manage and develop customer accounts for repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet targets.

Lead and mentor junior sales representatives in later stages (training, coaching, tracking performance).

Manage e-bidding, TOR submissions, and public procurement processes.

Provide sales reports, pipeline updates, and competitor insights to management.
Requirements
-
5+ years of proven sales experience in NGS or genomics-related technologies.

Strong understanding of NGS workflows, platforms, and applications.

Experience dealing with competitors such as GenePlus, Gibthai, Biodesign (preferred).

Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.

Strong background in public procurement (e-bidding, TOR) and established network in hospitals, universities, or research centers.

Bachelors degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology (Masters preferred).

Fluent in Thai; proficient in English (business level).
