Position: Demand Planning Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in driving business performance through accurate demand forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and commercial inputs.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and related teams to align demand plans with overall business objectives.

  • Apply appropriate forecasting models and techniques to enhance data accuracy and identify anomalies or irregular demand patterns.

  • Monitor forecast accuracy (e.g., forecast bias, error rates) and adjust plans proactively based on market dynamics and customer behavior.

  • Prepare and present demand planning reports, dashboards, and insights to support management decision-making and highlight risks or opportunities.

  • Lead and actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and inventory strategies.

  • Work closely with inventory management, sales planning, and warehouse operations to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory or stockouts.

  • Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and recommend initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously strengthen forecasting capabilities.

  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure effective use of data for planning and operational execution.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.

  • Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience or solid knowledge of S&OP processes and inventory management.

  • Hands-on experience with demand planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or similar tools).

  • Supply Chain or Demand Planning certification is an advantage.

  • Strong English communication skills (TOEIC 550+ or equivalent proficiency preferred).

  • High accountability with strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
