KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budget Setup & Maintenance
- Prepare and maintain the approved annual budget in the ERP system.
- Ensure budget structures, cost centers, accounts, departments, and budget lines are correctly configured.
- Update approved budget revisions and adjustments in the system.
Budget Data Input & Validation
- Enter approved budget data into the ERP system accurately and on time.
- Review and validate budget inputs received from different departments.
- Coordinate with departments to correct incomplete or inaccurate budget information.
Budget Monitoring & Control
- Monitor actual expenses against the approved budget through the ERP system.
- Analyze Budget vs. Actual variances and identify significant deviations.
- Monitor available budget balances before commitments or expenditures.
ERP Reports & Analysis
- Extract budget, actual, commitment, and variance reports from the ERP system.
- Prepare periodic budget reports for management and department heads.
- Provide financial analysis to support budget control and decision-making.
System Coordination
- Coordinate with Finance and Oracle teams regarding budgeting system issues.
- Support testing and implementation of new budgeting functions and system improvements.
- Ensure proper workflow and approval processes are functioning correctly.
Budget Process Support
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process through the ERP system.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for budget changes.
- Ensure budget transactions comply with approved policies, procedures, and authorization levels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2–4 years of experience in Budgeting.
- Experience with Oracle EBS.
- Good understanding of budget preparation, Budget vs. Actual analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good understanding of cost centers, GL accounts, departments, and budget structures.
- Ability to review, validate, and reconcile financial and budget data entered into the ERP system.
- Ability to prepare budget reports and management analysis.
- Good communication and coordination skills with Finance, Planning, and other departments.
