Job Purpose:
Manage government-related documentation and procedures required for the company's automotive manufacturing and CKD local assembly activities. Coordinate with government authorities and internal departments to ensure documents, approvals, permits, and regulatory submissions are completed on time and maintained in line with applicable requirements.
Job Description:
- Handle documents and procedures related to the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
- Prepare and follow up on official letters, submissions, and government correspondence related to manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate traffic-related letters and documents required for company vehicles and automotive operations.
- Follow up on circulars, periodic publications, and government instructions affecting the manufacturing operation.
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities on permits, approvals, registrations, and required documentation.
- Maintain records of government documents, approvals, correspondence, and submission status.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure required government documents and submissions are completed within the required time.
- Support the company in government procedures related to CKD manufacturing, local assembly, and automotive production.
- Escalate pending government requirements and regulatory issues to the responsible manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Government Affairs, Government Relations, Administration, Supply Chain, or a related function.
- Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, local assembly, or industrial sector is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP is preferred.
- Good knowledge of government documentation, official correspondence, and document control.
- Good communication and follow-up skills with government authorities and internal departments.
- Ability to manage multiple government requests and deadlines.
- Good Arabic writing and communication skills with working English proficiency.
- Willingness to handle government-related visits and external follow-up when required.
