Position: Treasury Accountant

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in treasury management. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Manage daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for the company's operations 

- Monitor and analyze cash flow forecasts and variances 

- Prepare and review cash reconciliations and bank statements - Process and record all treasury transactions accurately and timely 

- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions 

- Monitor and report on foreign currency exchange rates and their impact on the company's finances 

- Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections and budgets 

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of treasury operations.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies 

- Provide support to other accounting and finance functions as needed

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 

- CPA or CFA designation is an asset 

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury management or a similar role 

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis 

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software 

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
