Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose:

To ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the mall's building systems and technical infrastructure through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, technical supervision, troubleshooting, and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot technical faults and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and maintain MEP and building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other technical equipment.
• Supervise maintenance contractors and ensure work is completed according to required standards and SLAs.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure proper prioritization and timely completion.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues to recommend effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and life-safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facility Management, shopping malls, commercial buildings, or similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience in supervising maintenance contractors.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
