Location: East Burnaby
Schedule: 4 days per week, 2 hours per day (after school)
Pay: $20-$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Role:
Our client is looking for a reliable and patient Tutor to support a Grade 8 student with core subjects after school. The ideal candidate is focused, organized, and able to adapt to the students learning style to help them build confidence and improve academic performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring and homework support in core Grade 8 subjects (Math, English, Science, Social Studies, etc.)

• Create a calm, positive learning environment

• Track progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed

• Encourage study habits and critical thinking skills

Qualifications:

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred

• Strong understanding of the BC Grade 8 curriculum

• Patient, dependable, and able to communicate effectively

• Available for consistent weekday sessions after school
