Position Overview
We're seeking a seasoned Business Immigration Attorney on a contract basis to assist our entrepreneurial clients - founders, business owners, and investors - in navigating U.S. immigration opportunities. This includes visas tailored for business purposes such as E-2, L-1, and O-1.
This is a remote, flexible opportunity with project-based assignments without the constraints of a traditional firm role.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise entrepreneurs and business owners on optimal immigration pathways.
- Prepare and file non-immigrant and immigrant petitions including E-2, L-1A/B, and O-1.
- Develop persuasive business plans, supporting documentation, and evidence packages.
- Collaborate closely with our corporate team to ensure alignment between business structuring and immigration strategy.
- Manage filings and coordinate consular processing.
- Stay informed of policy updates and proactively advise the team and clients accordingly.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in business immigration law, particularly founder and investor visas.
- Active attorney license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Proven ability to handle immigration matters independently from start to finish.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and drafting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Operate with a business-first mindset: practical, fast-moving, and solution-oriented.
