SAP Business One Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One Consultant to support ERP implementation, configuration, customization, upgrades, testing, and ongoing client support. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP B1, SQL, Crystal Reports, and client-facing consulting, along with a good understanding of AWS and ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Work extensively with SAP Business One (SAP B1) and the WR1 (Waste & Recycling One) add-on.

Configure and customize SAP B1 and WR1, including infrastructure, SQL, Crystal Reports, Spindle, and AWS-related activities.

Deliver end-to-end consulting services for ERP implementation and related projects.

Perform system upgrades, enhancements, configurations, and software changes for clients.

Assist with project consulting, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activities.

Provide user training, technical guidance, and ongoing support to clients.

Handle technical support issues raised through Jira Helpdesk within defined timelines and SLAs.

Prepare operational documentation, functional requirements, system designs, and user guides.

Support and guide clients through software changes, enhancements, and new functionalities.

Develop, implement, and document test plans for system and software testing.

Conduct functional and system testing, identify software issues, troubleshoot root causes, and recommend solutions.

Identify functionality gaps and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and fixes.

Make recommendations to improve software and system quality, performance, and functionality.

Create release guides and functional documentation for each new release of the ISB software.

Assist with pre-sales activities, including solution discussions and prospective customer engagements.

Support customer account management and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1).

Proven experience in SAP B1 implementation, configuration, and support.

Strong ability to write and work with SQL queries.

Practical experience with Crystal Reports.

Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.

Experience in preparing functional requirements, specifications, and system designs.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written business English communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivery.

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

SAP Business One certification is preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience working with Jira and Confluence.

Knowledge or experience within the waste management/recycling industry.

Familiarity with MS Office and Visio.

Experience with ERP implementation within client-facing consulting environments.
