Position Overview

The Technical Sales Officer (TSO) is the frontline commercial and technical representative of the Mukammal brand. The TSO drives demand for Mukammal's complete fertilizer range — spanning straight fertilizers, NPKs, specialty blends, and micronutrient products — through proactive farmer engagement, agronomic advisory, and active channel management. The ideal candidate brings an established book of farmer and dealer contacts, enabling rapid territory penetration and sales conversion from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly and seasonal volume targets across Mukammal's full fertilizer range, including straight fertilizers, compound NPKs, specialty blends, and micronutrient products.
  • Leverage existing farmer and dealer relationships to generate immediate sales momentum in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by mapping untapped farms, villages, and retail points within the territory.
  • Execute seasonal promotional campaigns, off-season stocking schemes, and dealer incentive programs as directed by the RSM.

    Farmer Engagement & Demand Creation

  • Conduct regular farm visits to promote the complete Mukammal range; deliver crop-specific nutrition recommendations that position Mukammal products as the first-choice input.
  • Organise farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and field trials; engage lead growers and community influencers to build brand pull at village and mandi level.
  • Educate farmers on correct application rates, timing, and product combinations for key crops (wheat, cotton, rice, sugarcane, maize, vegetables, orchards).
  • Support the agronomy team in conducting Farmer Field Schools and demo plot evaluations across the territory.

    Dealer & Channel Management

  • Manage and grow assigned dealer and retailer accounts; maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing contacts and continuously expand the active dealer base.
  • Ensure dealers stock the full Mukammal product range and maintain adequate inventory levels ahead of peak crop seasons.

Department: Sales & Distribution

Reporting To: Business Manager, Pakistan

Employment Type

  • Support onboarding of new dealers under the Mukammal Franchise Policy; brief them on product portfolio, credit terms, and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Ensure timely payment collection from dealers; flag overdue accounts promptly to the RSM with supporting documentation.

    Technical Advisory & Agronomic Support

  • Provide reliable, science-based guidance on soil health, nutrient management, and crop-specific fertilizer programs across all major crops in the territory.
  • Assist in soil sampling coordination and relay tailored fertilizer recommendations to farmers based on results.
  • Report field observations on crop stress, nutrient deficiencies, and competitive product usage to the technical and marketing teams.

    Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate daily call logs, dealer visit records, and sales activity data; submit weekly and monthly reports to the RSM.
  • Track competitor product availability, pricing, and dealer promotions; submit monthly intelligence reports.
  • Provide structured feedback on product performance, pricing gaps, and dealer satisfaction to inform portfolio and commercial decisions.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. Hons.) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Protection, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of field sales experience in the fertilizer, crop protection, or seed industry.
  • Proven existing relationships with farmers, progressive growers, and dealers/retailers in the target territory — this is a firm requirement.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Pakistan's major crop systems, fertilizer application practices, and common nutrient deficiency diagnosis.
  • Ability to communicate agronomic concepts persuasively in local languages (Punjabi, Sindhi, or relevant regional dialect).
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile-based reporting tools.
  • Valid driving license; own conveyance (motorcycle/car) strongly preferred.
