Overview
The Regional Head is a Senior Manager level representative in the assigned region; the incumbent will primarily be an organizational representative in the region with core responsibility to ensure effective organizational representation through regional outreach accountability and organizational mandate awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all market development, awareness-building, and organizational outreach activities within the assigned region, in close coordination with the Head Office.
Identify, engage, and develop a qualified pipeline of tech enterprises across priority sectors – including but not limited to AI, IT/ITeS, hi-tech manufacturing, data centers, semiconductors, and EV technologies.
Develop sector-focused engagement strategies and investor targeting approaches with effective relationship-building activities with existing/registered entities.
Ensure regulatory based overviews/feedback gathering sessions with prospective and existing/registered entities.
Manage and grow relationships including but not limited to tech companies, provincial investment boards, trade associations, industry bodies, and other regional stakeholders.
Serve and represent as the primary organizational regional point of contact for all government, private sector, and international stakeholder queries and engagements within the assigned region and, if required, assist the relevant departments to resolve/address actionable items based at Head Office.
Maintain awareness of and provide intelligence on regional stakeholder dynamics, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform the organization's national strategy.
Ensure prompt support/action to the Head Office for any officially assigned project/task/activity pertaining to the assigned region.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business/market development, investment promotion and/or technology industry-specific stakeholder engagement.
Effective track record of result-oriented relationship management, preferably in the technology sector.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Ability to identify, originate, and develop investment and partnership opportunities in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
Proven ability to build and sustain high-quality professional business relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu; capable of representing the organization credibly at forums, in meetings, and in written materials.
Advanced public speaking and presentation skills.
Tech savvy – AI knowledge and awareness will be an added advantage.
Education Requirements
Minimum academic qualification for this role is a graduate/bachelor's degree (16 years) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, International Relations, or a related discipline from a national or foreign university recognized by HEC.
Master's degree or professional qualification in a relevant field is an advantage.
