ABOUT THE ROLE

Kamayi is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Investment Strategy Analyst for leading co-working space. The Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in driving strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support informed decision-making and ensure the company's financial health and growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement robust financial planning processes, including long-term financial projections, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts, to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and senior management to gather inputs, analyze variances, and provide accurate financial forecasts.

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and cost-benefit analysis, to identify opportunities for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.

Management Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key insights and financial performance metrics.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making.

Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate business performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including Accounting, Operations, and Sales, to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and ensure alignment between financial plans and operational activities.

Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and optimize financial systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to teams, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

WHAT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting, preferably in an individual contributor role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with expertise in Excel and financial planning software. Deep understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand operational drivers and their impact on financial performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong team management skills.
