Job Overview:
As the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, you will play a key role in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to track the progress and impact of our projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- M&E Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the organization's monitoring and evaluation strategy in alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with program managers to design M&E frameworks and indicators for projects.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to program activities and outcomes.
- Develop and implement data quality assurance processes.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular M&E reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of project reports to donors and relevant authorities.
- Capacity Building:
- Provide training and capacity-building support to project staff and partners on M&E tools and methodologies.
- Foster a culture of learning and accountability within the organization.
- Evaluation and Impact Assessment:
- Plan and conduct evaluations and impact assessments of projects.
- Make recommendations for program improvement based on evaluation findings.
- Collaboration and Networking:
- Collaborate with external partners, donors, and stakeholders to align M&E activities with industry standards and best practices.
- Represent the organization in M&E-related forums and networks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in a non-profit or development organization.
- Strong understanding of M&E frameworks, methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant M&E tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Statistics, Public Health). Masters degree is a plus.
