We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager for one of our clients to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of solid sales experience, with a preference for candidates with a background in software services sales. This role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to our continued success and growth, while leading a high-performing team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and analyze the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and a healthy lead-to-deal conversion rate.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors, providing insights to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.
- Sales Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, driving continuous improvement.
- Sales Training: Develop and deliver training programs for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Sales Collateral: Collaborate with marketing to create and update sales collateral, ensuring that sales teams have the necessary materials to succeed.
- Budget Management: Responsible for managing the sales budget and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-10 years of solid sales experience, preferably in software services sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
