Mac System Administrator

Position Title: Mac System Administrator/Engineer

Location: Arfa Towers, Lahore

Working Hours: 8 hours in the US Time Zone

• You will be directly working with a US-based team

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain scripts and deployment packages.
• Conduct weekly reviews and deployment of patches.
• Oversee the deployment of MacOS upgrades.
• Create and manage monitor sets, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Develop and manage local MacOS policies to align with organizational requirements.
• Deploy and configure backup solutions for MacOS devices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Mac-related escalations from the service desk.
• Author knowledge-base articles focused on Mac support.
• Collaborate with sales and client strategy teams to provide Mac-based solutions.
• Regularly update configurations and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest features of MacOS, iOS, and related platforms.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Mac OS environments.
• 2 years of experience managing Mac OS devices using a Mac-focused Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Mac device management tools such as Jamf, Addigy, or Microsoft Intune.
• Previous experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations is a plus.
• Apple Genius experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Apple School Manager and Apple Business Manager MDMs.
• Certification as an Apple Certified IT Professional or Apple Certified Support
