Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Efficiently process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Verify coding, obtain approvals, and enter invoices into the NetSuite system.
- Payment Processing:
- Execute timely and accurate payments through various payment methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in compliance with payment terms.
- Reconcile payment records with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Vendor Management:
- Maintain effective communication with vendors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive vendor relationship.
- Regularly update vendor information in the NetSuite system.
- Expense Reimbursement:
- Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and ensure proper documentation for expenses.
- Month-End Close:
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Reporting:
- Generate and analyze reports from NetSuite to provide insights into accounts payable metrics.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as required by management.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and other departments, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP system.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
