This job requires someone who is proactive and has excellent communication skills.

Prerequisites:

1. You must be ACCA or CA qualified or part qualified. Top 10 audit firms experience preferable.

2. Strong IFRS and ISA knowledge, technical and practical knowledge of IFRS 17 will be considered

a plus.

3. Prior experience and knowledge of operations of an insurance company, including premiums,

claims and reinsurance cycles.

4. Knowledge of auditing procedures used to audit insurance service revenue, insurance service

expense, insurance contract assets/liabilities and reinsurance contract assets/liabilities.

5. Experience of using an electronic audit documentation tool (like Caseware, Aura, APT) is a

must.

6. Candidates who have Middle East experience will have an added advantage.

7. Ability to perform end to end fieldwork independently (planning to completion) including

preparation of financial statements based on IFRS and reports (like engagement letters,

representation letters, audit committee presentations, client service plans, etc.).

8. Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

9. Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).

10. A self-starter having the drive to learn, and the ability to work with minimal supervision or

training.

Salary: upto 160k

Traveling: May require traveling to KSA for secondment
