As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the stability, integrity, and seamless operation of our airline client's core Wintel and Messaging platforms. In this enterprise-grade role, you will manage a complex hybrid environment, bridging on-premise legacy systems with public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). Your mission is to optimize and secure the digital workspace for a global workforce, ensuring high availability of communication and identity services around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
Messaging & Collaboration: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Exchange Hybrid environments, managing Exchange Online and on-premise servers.
Oversee OneDrive, SharePoint, and the broader Office 365 suite.
Identity & Security: Lead Windows Active Directory (AD) administration and
manage Azure Enterprise Applications, including permission reviews and service
principal governance. Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management
(PAM/CyberArk).
Infrastructure Services: Provide expert-level administration for Infoblox
(DNS/DHCP), SFTP, and complex File Server environments (AWS FSx, DFSR, and
SMB shares).
Cloud & Virtualization: Deploy and manage cloud resources within AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC) and optimize virtual desktops via Citrix DaaS.
Systems Administration: Execute L3 support for Windows and RHEL OS, including patching, system hardening, and upgrades in compliance with global aviation security standards.
Hardware Oversight: Support physical compute infrastructure, specifically Cisco UCS, ensuring hardware health and performance.
Operational Excellence: Set standards for monitoring and maintenance within
a 24/7 rotational shift model, ensuring zero downtime for mission-critical airline operations.
Required Skills & Experience
Wintel & Directory Services: 5–8 years of expert experience in Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server technologies.
Messaging Expert: Proven track record in managing Exchange Hybrid and Office
365 migrations/operations at scale.
Networking & Storage: Advanced proficiency in Infoblox, SFTP, and distributed file systems (DFSR/AWS FSx).
Cloud & Security: Expertise in Azure AD (Entra ID) App registrations and
permissions; hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Operations and PAM
(CyberArk preferred).
Modern Workspace: Proficiency in Citrix DaaS and RHEL IDAM solutions.
Technical Breadth: Knowledge of Cisco UCS hardware and general cloud
infrastructure (AWS/OCI).
