Lawyer/Legal Associate - KYC

As we continue to expand our Compliance team, we are looking for a Lawyer/Legal Associate (contractor position) for our office in Uruguay, based in Montevideo. In this role, you will be responsible to conduct Know-Your-Client (KYC) processes for our clients.

As a Legal Associate within the Compliance team, the position requires the following:

MISSION:

• Review documentation received from legal entities and individuals in the framework of standardized KYC processes;
• Liaise with legal entities and individuals to expedite the KYC process;
• Analyze risks based on the corporate structure of legal entities;
• Draft KYC reports upon completion of the KYC process.

PROFILE:

• Law degree
• Entry level position
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional language skills would be a plus.
• Strong interest in compliance matters. Previous experience welcomed.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• IT literate. At ease using Office suite, Sharepoint and web-based tools.
• Interest in working in an international environment.
