General Objectives:

Within its panel of expertise, Kalexius offers end-to-end legal management services to its Corporate Governance clients. In the framework of our growing Corporate Governance practice, Kalexius is seeking to hire a German speaking Legal Project Manager.

We are looking for a lawyer with experience in Corporate Governance and with a genuine interest for project management and leadership. We offer the opportunity to evolve on the legal market with a specific emphasis on client satisfaction and efficiency, as well as to grow as a manager and a leader.

In this Legal Project Management role, the person will be managing a team of lawyers and will be in charge of the client relationship.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a long term project: ensure the launch of the services, timely deliveries, client reporting on progress of tasks and volume of services and client relationship
  • Implement our Kalexius project management principles on a daily basis
  • Manage a dedicated team of junior lawyers: ensure training and daily management (work allocation, HR management)
  • Liaise and coordinate with the client, relevant stakeholders and local partners to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Report regularly to our Corporate Governance Practice Head on various parameters (progress of the project, training of the team, reporting on volumes and progress of tasks )
  • Come in support of the team to conduct legal research to ensure compliance with all relevant corporate requirements, including annual reporting and filing obligations of legal entities, across multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare and review drafts and coordinate filings of legal documentation
  • Make sure to maintain accurate and up-to date records of all legal entities, including by updating the clients legal entity management database.

Studies- Qualifications

Bar qualification or Master of Law degree (LLM), from a German, Austrian or Swiss university.

Languages

German and English. Additional language skills are welcomed.

IT Skills

IT literate. At ease using Office suite, Sharepoint and web-based tools.

Experience

Mid-level profiles: 3 to 5 years of experience working for a global legal department or a law firm
