Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a passion for interior design and renovation projects? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor in the dynamic field of interior design and renovation. In this role, you will play a crucial part in tendering for and managing various commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a background in quantity surveying, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Demonstrate knowledge and experience in tendering for commercial, industrial, retail, and residential interior fitting-out projects.
-Perform quantity measurement tasks, including progress claims, quotations, and final claims.
-Conduct general quantity surveying duties such as pre/post contract tasks, taking off quantities, cost control, variations, and tender administrative duties.
-Ability to comprehend tender requirements, prepare, and submit tenders within specific deadlines.
-Prepare and analyze costings for tenders, including sourcing new vendors and compiling quotations.
-Conduct quantity take-off and cost estimations, sourcing contractors and suppliers.
-Assist the project team in managing contractual matters, including extensions for time or expense claims.
Requirements:
-Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work well in a team environment.
-Proven experience in tendering for commercial, industrial, and retail interior fitting-out projects.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in the interior design, renovation, or building industry.
-Independent and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
-Must have a personal device and internet connection.
