Senior Engineer – Infrastructure and Cloud

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Alibaba Cloud while also creating, implementing, and managing network solutions for Huawei equipment to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability.

· Manage infrastructure and cloud-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to meet business objectives and timelines.

· Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

· Perform compliance checks, security vulnerabilities and patching including documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize knowledge management, privacy, and security initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives

· Identify and develop work flows to enhance adoption and provide efficiencies within the enterprise.

· Manage vendor relationships and effectively communicate with cloud service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are resolved promptly.

· Provide assistance in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including working on site during the event to ensure all logistical needs are met and that everything runs smoothly.

Professional Skills/Experience:

· Proven hands-on experience (5 to 8 years) in managing cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Alibaba Cloud.

· Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technical skills.

· Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering cloud-related projects on time and within budget.

· Team Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to work in a team environment with a can do attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges.

· Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills

· Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.

· Knowledge of privacy and security best practices and related technologies, including data protection, encryption, access control, data classification, and data retention.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Preferred Cloud certifications: Alibaba Cloud Certified Associate (ACA)

· Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
