Overview of Position

Kai Tak Sports Park Limited is seeking a commercially driven Senior Manager, Business Development to lead venue advertising sales, venue partnerships/sponsorship and strategic collaborations for Kai Tak Sports Park. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will lead the Business Development Team to drive revenue growth through mid to long term strategic partnerships, brand collaborations and activations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development team and own commercial strategy and business planning to drive revenue across venue advertising sales, venue partnerships and sponsorships, and strategic collaborations.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue mid- to long-term partnership opportunities with leading brands, leveraging Kai Tak Sports Parks commercial assets for brand visibility and strategic alliances.
  • Develop compelling value propositions, sales proposals, and bespoke presentation materials.
  • Spearhead the establishment of business protocols and guiding principles for commercial activations and corporate partnerships, and relentlessly fine‑tune the business model to drive peak performance.
  • Maintain a robust and accurate CRM to support revenue targets, sales forecasting, pipeline management, database integrity, and management reporting.
  • Lead and manage the execution of physical installations or other business development projects as required, ensuring delivery in compliance with contractual commitments, statutory requirements, quality standards, financial objectives, and project timelines.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative business models and revenue streams beyond venue advertising sales and venue partnerships; oversee end-to-end commercial touchpoints to ensure the fulfilment of contractual entitlements. Collaborate closely with the Client Servicing Team and cross-functional business units to ensure effective delivery of sponsorship entitlements and activation programs.
  • Proactively identify new commercial initiatives and strategic collaboration opportunities, working across business units to drive revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and overall enterprise value.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to build a strong revenue pipeline, enhance execution capability, and achieve commercial targets.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or above in Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in business development, sponsorship, or commercial sales, preferably within sports, entertainment, venue management, real estate, or large-scale events.
  • Proven experience in formulating and executing commercial strategies and business plans, with a strong track record of securing multi‑year, high‑value sponsorship and advertising agreements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and developing sales teams and working effectively with cross-functional business units.
  • Strong commercial acumen with sound judgment in negotiation, deal structuring, and stakeholder management.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong market insight and the ability to develop tailored solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational capability.
  • Skilled problem-solver with a collaborative, diplomatic, and proactive can-do approach.
  • Mature and good team player, able to work independently while effectively engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent command of Cantonese and English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
