Role Introduction

The Specialist Digital Content is responsible to oversee the creation and delivery of engaging visual content across our digital signage network. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow for producing dynamic multimedia content and ensuring the content is displayed clearly on all digital signs. This position will collaborate with various venue departments like marketing, operations, IT, security, facilities etc. and different entities to execute events and improve venue experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with brand messaging and campaign objectives.
  • Curate and produce visual content including video, animations, graphics, photos, and text for digital signage.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to conceptualize and produce content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Oversee technical delivery of content across digital signage screens using CMS platforms.
  • Monitor content performance and user engagement metrics to optimize content and strategy.
  • Stay on top of digital signage content best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for content production and system implementation.
  • Work closely with marketing team to conceptualise digital signage content that aligns with broader brand campaigns, promotions, and messaging.
  • Partner with marketing on branded content pieces, including working with sponsors/partners on integrations and co-developed visuals.
  • Collaborate on creative direction, asset development and production timelines for new content initiatives like season kick-offs, themed events, athlete features, etc.
  • Provide guidance on content strategies, platforms and metrics that will resonate best with target demographics based on digital signage expertise.
  • Share audience analytics and feedback regularly with marketing to optimize and refine content approach.
  • Ensure brand guidelines, imagery, and tone are applied accurately across all digital signage content.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience working with content creation software. e.g., Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing digital signage content and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of visual design, multimedia formats, and UX principles
  • Technical knowledge of digital signage hardware, software, and content management
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Collaborative team player with ability to build relationships across the organisation.
  • A keen interest in the sports venue industry and innovation in the technical kit, actively seeking information and sharing internally with the team.
