Role Introduction

The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation, installation, and breakdown of event spaces and equipment. They work closely with the Event Operations team to ensure the venue is properly set up and ready for each event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up / break down and remove all event equipment (e.g. tables, chairs, stages, audiovisual equipment) and other event furnishings and materials according to floor plans and diagrams.
  • Install event decor, signage, and other event-specific materials (e.g. Sports wooden flooring).
  • Ensure that the event space is neat, clean, and aligned with the event theme and design.
  • Collaborate with the event operations team to adjust and improve the event setup as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of event equipment and supplies and report any issues or needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to provide a secure work environment.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any immediate concerns or requirements.
  • Provide technical support during events, troubleshooting equipment and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Support the event operations team with any other tasks related to the event setup and logistics.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in events management or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and event equipment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate event hours, including shift work, overnight work, weekends and public holiday.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
  • Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate and Fork-lift Truck Certificate holder is preferred.
  • Applicants with at least 1 year of working experience within the events, hospitality, logistics or operation fields.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings is an advantage.

要求:

  • 高中畢業或同等學歷,具有活動管理或相關領域的額外教育或證書。
  • 細心周到,能夠按照詳細說明操作。
  • 熟練使用工具、電動工具和活動設備。
  • 優秀的團隊合作和溝通能力。
  • 能夠搬運重物。
  • 能夠配合活動時間安排,包括輪班,夜班通宵工作,在週末和公共假期提供活動支援。
  • 具備解決問題和創造性思維的能力。
  • 具有良好的英語和中文書面及口語能力。
  • 持有建築業安全訓練證書、堆高機證書者優先。
  • 具備1年以上活動、飯店、物流或營運工作經驗者優先。
  • 能閱讀並理解技術圖面者優先。
