Carpenter - Foreman (管工 - 木工)

Role Introduction

The incumbent will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures according to project specifications, assisting in supervising relevant carpentry projects, working according to company requirements, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, and meeting the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance, repairs, and operations related to carpentry work on site;
• Construct and install relevant carpentry structures and fixtures, such as wooden furniture, doors, site backgrounds, wooden floor, moldings, etc.;
• Inspect and replace damaged frames or other structures and fixtures;
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed within the designated time frame;
• Identify and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor;
• Comply with all safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment;
• Guide and supervise laborers and other construction workers;
• Perform temporary duties as required by the company;
• Be on duty standby during events.

Requirements

• Form 3 or above, with vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry (is preferred).
• Preference will be given to those with relevant registration as a semi-skilled or skilled worker (carpentry industry);
• Ability to read and interpret related drawings and specifications.
• At least 3 years of practical experience as a carpenter, with preference for those who have worked in the construction or renovation industry.
• Proficient in using relevant manual and power tools.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese, with preference given to those who can communicate in English.

• 中三或以上程度, 並接受過木工職業培訓或學徒制培養考慮。
• 持有相關註冊半熟練技工或註冊熟練技(木工行業)優先;
• 能夠閱讀和解釋圖紙和規範。
• 至少有3年擔任木工的實踐經驗, 於建築或裝修行業工作者優先考慮。
• 熟練使用相關手動和電動工具。
• 懂讀寫中文，懂英語溝通者優先。
