Role Introduction

The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for the company's food and beverage products. This includes developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the sales team meets or exceeds their targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including restaurant chains, grocery stores, and food service distributors. This is to maximise any relevant ad hoc event sponsorship opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct new business market research, projections, preparations and execution for expanding companys client base and drive for sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with other sales departments to maximise cross sell opportunities and work closely with operations to maximise event day delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, activity reports, and other key performance metrics to the management team.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other networking activities to promote the company's food and beverage products.
  • Manage the budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 3-5 years in a sales management role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close deals.
  • Proficient in using sales management tools, CRM software, and data analysis software.
  • Thorough understanding of the food and beverage industry, including distribution channels, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Good command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
