Role Introduction:

The Stewarding Dishwasher / Potwasher is responsible for daily operations in the outlets, concessions, Sports Bar and kitchens to provide excellent cleaning, hygiene and maintenance services throughout all back-of-the-house of Catering Services facilities, kitchen areas, receiving area, Sports Bar and garbage chamber according to the established standards at top quality level. To ensure business performance objectives are achieved and reputation is maintained consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the daily stewarding operations through providing excellent services to keep all functional areas, equipment and utensils are cleaned by following the cleaning schedules and/or instructions of superior ensuring meeting the sanitation standards as per the company's policy and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are adhered to in all stewarding areas, including dishwashing, storage, and workspaces.
  • Performing routine cleaning tasks or specific cleaning works for catering back-of-the-house area or in venues as assigned.
  • Cleaning soiled operating equipment, pots and pans.
  • Delivering operating equipment duly cleaned to designated area.
  • Clearing garbage from kitchens, bars, pantries and all concessions.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all garbage bins and recycle bins daily.
  • Maintaining the garbage chamber clean and tidy.
  • Refilling paper hand towel and hand soap for hand wash stations in the kitchens and concessions.
  • Exchanging and recording sanitizers as required.
  • Checking and recording dishwashing machine temperature and reporting any irregularities to supervisor.
  • Proper handling and operating of dishwashing machine.
  • Maintaining good relationship with team members and other departments at all the time.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the workplaces at all times.
  • Carrying out weekly and periodical cleaning as per schedules for kitchen equipment especially for high-risk items, fridges, shelves and cabinets.
  • Following up the food waste management system in the stadium.
  • Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by superior.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year relevant experience in stewarding in F&B industries.
  • Basic Hygiene knowledge.
  • Familiarity with relevant food safety, HACCP and ISO22000 regulations and certifications.
  • Knowledge in operating dishwashing, potwashing and cleaning machines.
  • Knowledge on chemical usage.
  • Good communication skills with colleagues.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Intense passion for service excellence and high service standards.
