JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the Asia Pacific operation, taking ownership of regional strategy and budget
  • Provide visionary leadership to align regional activities with overarching organizational goals

Goal Achievement:

  • Take responsibility for achieving defined goals and implementing activities that drive sustainable growth within the region
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams regionally and globally to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives

Operational Excellence:

  • Continuously optimize processes and organizational structures within the region for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and implement best practices to elevate operational performance

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Provide crucial insights and guidance to the business leaders in the region, contributing significant input to the implementation of defined strategies
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives across the region and global

Communication Hub:

  • Act as the primary contact at Regional HQ for all activities related to the Asia Pacific region
  • Facilitate clear communication channels between the regional teams and the headquarters

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in setting up and effectively managing regional organizations, with a focus on business development 
  • Experience in leading organization with profit/loss responsibility and driving ambitious business goals through setting business strategies in competitive markets
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating B2B environments, particularly with technically demanding products, showcasing an ability to understand and cater to the needs of diverse industries
  • Track record of successful leadership within a matrix organizational structure, demonstrating the ability to collaborate seamlessly across functions and regions
  • Capable of leading senior business leaders and empowering them to take full accountability for their business scope while coaching and providing support to them
  • A profound understanding of the diverse cultures, markets, and business dynamics across the Asia-Pacific region and deep appreciation and alignment with the Asian mentality, seamlessly integrating it with the broader company culture
  • An integrative approach in the market, fostering collaboration and synergy across diverse regions and subsidiaries
  • A nuanced understanding of the Regional Headquarters as a crucial component of the overall organizational structure, with the ability to align regional strategies with broader corporate goals
