About the job Senior ETL Developer
Responsibilities:
Improve existing data designs and design new databases and data models, including relational table structures, using Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle and SQL Server
Manage the requirements gathering, development and rollout of major projects on the solution platform
Creating reports and providing the ability to slice and dice the data in SSAS
Work directly with reporting team to ensure ongoing operational and new work complies with requirements and ETL best practice and audit standards
Provide ad-hoc support for advanced strategic data analysis initiatives
Act as the go-to expert on all underlying transformation logic against data in the data warehouse
Support business user questions about the data and provide documentation and training when and where necessary
Requirements:
Holds a college degree in any discipline
Minimum 5-10+ years professional/project experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and/or business intelligence
Minimum 3+ years experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Python, Alteryx, SSIS, or Informatica. Integrating data from varied sources using Alteryx and being able to load the data into the SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) cubes using SSIS
Data-modeling experience
Hands-on experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Purview, Machine Learning) or Power BI, Power Platform
Aptitude for data and analytics - SQL queries, ETL frameworks and tools, T-SQL (Views, Queries, Stored Procedures), R, Spark, and DAX
Experience deploying data pipelines, models, and AI-driven solutions. Packaging the product and turning it over to the client.
Must be able to understand ledgers at the very least
