About the job Senior Paid Media & Growth Strategist

Senior Paid Media & Growth Strategist

Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per year (DOE)
Contract type: Full-time
Location: Remote — UK/EU hours

About our client

Our client is a digital advertising agency for high-consideration products. We help businesses with complex offerings increase their sales by combining the power of algorithms with human empathy, storytelling and style.

Our core service is Paid Media Management, which sits at the heart of our business. We also offer creative strategy and social-first content production through our in-house Creative Studio.

Spekk was named one of the UK's Top 100 Companies to Work For in 2025 by the Culture 100 Awards and recognised as one of the UK's fastest-growing paid social and creative agencies in 2026.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Paid Media & Growth Strategist to run paid social, hands-on, for up to five premium e-commerce brands.

You will work directly with founders and C-level stakeholders, shape the strategy — not just the ads — and look beyond the ad account to identify what else may be holding growth back: the website, offer, pricing, creative, CRM or brand.

Our clients sell high-consideration products across premium homeware, tech and high-end fashion. This means that ads are rarely the only factor determining results; sometimes the blocker sits outside the paid media account.

We run accounts more like a boutique strategy consultancy than a traditional performance agency: fewer clients, more time to think, and senior colleagues who will challenge and support your work.

What you'll do

Running your accounts

  • Develop the strategy for each account directly with Spekk Partners, then own its implementation and iteration with the client.
  • Own how accounts are structured, budgeted and optimised across paid social, including Advantage+ and manual funnel campaigns.
  • Direct day-to-day execution on larger accounts and carry out some of it yourself on mid-sized accounts.
  • Plan structured tests and decide what to scale, fix or stop.
  • Read results properly, looking beyond ROAS to measurement, attribution, reach, frequency, creative fatigue and long buying journeys.

Looking beyond the ad account

  • Diagnose growth blockers outside paid media, including website, offer, pricing, CRM and brand.
  • Connect paid media spend to commercial outcomes such as margin, LTV, payback, budget scenarios and forecasts.
  • Bring new angles, tests and ideas from a 360-degree view of marketing, from funnel structure to sharper messaging.
  • Recommend spend levels that can be defended commercially.

Working with clients and creative

  • Act as the client's day-to-day lead, including regular conversations with founders and C-level stakeholders.
  • Balance brand priorities against short-term performance goals.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and recommendations that people outside paid media can understand and act on.
  • Brief our in-house Creative Studio or the client's creative team with a prioritised asset request list.
  • Analyse creative performance and recommend what to make next.

Who we're looking for

Experience

  • 5+ years running paid social professionally across several e-commerce brands, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager and performance account management.
  • A genuinely good understanding of Google Ads, including campaign types, bidding and attribution. You do not need to know every setting, but you should be able to plan, review and challenge a search strategy with confidence.
  • Experience growing premium e-commerce accounts, particularly high-end fashion, high-priced homeware or tech with long buying journeys.
  • Experience in small, fast-moving teams is a plus, particularly within an independent or boutique agency.
  • A credible understanding of the wider levers that affect paid performance, such as landing pages, pricing, email, brand, PR and influencer activity.
  • The ability to turn complex performance and creative data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Who you are

  • Naturally authoritative with clients: clear, confident and persuasive in senior-level conversations.
  • Curious and proactive, with a strong instinct for root-cause analysis.
  • Driven, with high personal standards and genuine pride in your results.
  • Resilient and open to feedback, staying calm when tests underperform or clients escalate.
  • Fluent in English (C2 or equivalent).
  • Based in the UK or EU and able to work UK/EU hours.

What you'll get

  • Premium brands and real influence over commercial decisions.
  • A genuine meritocracy, with no red tape or barriers to your development.
  • Practical AI upskilling through our Chief AI Officer and the opportunity to help shape Spekk OS, our internal AI and data system.
  • Fully remote working across the UK and EU.
  • Team trips two to three times a year, with previous destinations including Tuscany, the French Riviera, Mallorca, Austria, Lisbon and Sweden.
  • Access to Casa Spekk, our brand home in Barcelona.
  • A £500 one-off allowance for your home office setup.
