About our client:
Our client is a leading company that develops and markets breast image analysis and cutting edge machine learning applications and services. Their product improves breast cancer survival rates by detecting cancers earlier so that treatment can be more effective and less invasive.
About the position:
We are looking for a motivated and energetic QA Test Engineer to implement and run the validation tests of the medical software devices. You will be part of a highly motivated and collaborative group of experts in breast imaging, artificial intelligence, algorithm development and clinical research who work closely together in an informal atmosphere.
In this position, you will contribute to further optimize and improve the testing activities to help the company bring their latest developed technology to clinical practice. This includes a lot of creative thinking and hands-on work:
- Interaction with all the relevant stakeholders, including experts on clinical, quality, AI and software engineers, to define the required tests and testing strategies.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Be the first with hands-on experience into our latest developments by executing both manual and automated tests.
- Further design and implementation of the automated test pipeline and environment.
Job requirements
You are self-motivated with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and initiative. You have a problem solving attitude and are very eager to develop new skills and knowledge. Furthermore, you have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in writing clear, concise test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Experience with virtual machines and Docker containers.
- Solid knowledge on Python and scripting.
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy with an eagerness to grow within a scaling up organization.
- Capable of working in a Linux environment.
- Excellent all round communication skills in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with medical devices following standards ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
