Bilingual Civil Engineer

Job Title: Bilingual Civil Engineer (Japanese)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Bridge Communication: Bridge communication between local site teams, clients, and international stakeholders.

Technical Design: Develop and review civil engineering designs, structural drawings, and layouts using CAD/BIM/Revit.

Translation & Documentation: Translate technical reports, specifications, and project documents between the two required languages.

Project Supervision: Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Cost Estimation: Prepare material, labor, and equipment cost estimates and manage project budgets.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal codes.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in civil site design, construction management, or structural engineering.

Languages: Native-level (N2/N3) proficiency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM, or STAAD.Pro.

Preferred Skills

Bridge Engineering experience.

JLPT N2/N3 or similar language certification.

Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
