Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Java + SQL Developer with strong experience in object-oriented programming and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features based on requirements using Java and SQL.
• Identify and leverage existing components or design reusable modules as needed.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Write and maintain comprehensive JUnit test cases to ensure code quality.
• Participate in performance tuning and optimization of code and queries when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 4–7 years of hands-on software development experience in Java and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and core Java.
• Proven experience with J2EE application servers, preferably WebLogic or JBoss.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL; experience in query optimization and performance tuning is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of browser-based and servlet-based application architectures.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and team-based development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science or related field.
• Fast learner with a strong drive to pick up new technologies and approaches quickly.
