Position Overview:

The Splunk Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Splunk apps and add-ons to extend platform functionality and integrate with other systems. Proficiency in SPL (Splunk Processing Language) and advanced search techniques is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk-based solutions for log management, monitoring, and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor system performance and security.
• Configure and optimize Splunk search queries, indexes, and data inputs to support specific use cases.
• Develop and maintain Splunk apps and add-ons to extend platform functionality and integrate with other systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Splunk-related issues and performance optimizations.
• Stay updated on emerging Splunk features and best practices and recommend solutions to improve Splunk capabilities.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SPL (Splunk Processing Language) and advanced search techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk apps/add-ons development.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and integration with Splunk.
• Knowledge of IT operations and security concepts, with experience in using Splunk for log analysis and security monitoring.
