Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Techno Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Model N (Powered by N / Flex / Validata) and a solid background in Java, Oracle, and Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting customized Model N solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test customizations in coordination with Solution Architect/Tech Lead and client teams.
  • Build custom applications that support and enhance the Model N Life Sciences solution using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to Professional Services teams.
  • Mentor junior members and share best practices, technical insights, and guidance.

Must-Have: Domain Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • Experience in Life Sciences Revenue Management, specifically in:
  • Pricing, Contracting, Rebates, Incentives
  • Contract Compliance
  • Government Pricing & Rebates (Medicare/Medicaid), FSS
  • Channel Management & Market Access
  • Preferable: Knowledge of Model N RC Framework (ACF/POF frameworks)

Technical Skills

Java Development

  • Strong Object-Oriented Design/Programming skills
  • Hands-on experience in Core Java & J2EE
  • Minimum 3 years of server-side, real-time, transaction-based Java development
  • Proficiency in Java/JDBC
  • Exposure to Servlets, Eclipse IDE, Version Control Systems
  • Core Java fundamentals: OOPs, Exception Handling, Collections
  • Advanced Java: Multithreading, JVM, Performance Tuning
  • Practical skills: Clean coding, Unit Testing, Debugging

Database – Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

  • Strong SQL & PL/SQL development experience
  • SQL Fundamentals: Joins, DML, Keys, Views
  • Advanced SQL: Indexes, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning
  • Practical skills: Query debugging & performance improvements

Web & Middleware

  • Experience with HTML, XML, and other web technologies
  • Exposure to middle-tier programming
  • Hands-on experience with JBoss servers

Cloud & DevOps

  • Working knowledge of AWS EC2, S3, Jenkins
  • Good understanding of Linux commands and Linux-based environments
