Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS & Palantir Foundry Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in building end-to-end data applications, operational workflows, analytics pipelines, and user-facing Foundry applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Palantir Foundry along with modern AWS cloud-native development, focusing on performance, scalability, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Palantir Foundry Development

  • Develop and deploy workflows using Code Repositories, Foundry Ontology/Object Models, Transformations (PySpark, SQL, Python), Quiver & Contour.
  • Build and maintain operational workflows and user-facing applications within Foundry.
  • Manage data lineage, versioning, cataloging, and ensure governance and compliance standards.

2. AWS Cloud Development

  • Integrate Palantir Foundry with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, API Gateway, Athena.
  • Develop secure and scalable cloud-native architectures following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Optimize Spark compute performance, job schedules, and resource utilization.

3. Data Engineering

  • Design and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and SQL.
  • Work with structured and semi-structured datasets (CSV, Parquet, JSON, etc.).
  • Implement automated data quality checks, validation processes, and error-handling workflows.

4. DevOps & CI/CD

  • Use Git and Foundry CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
  • Work with AWS DevOps tools such as CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild.
  • Implement test automation, validation checks, and monitoring for data jobs and applications.

Required Technical Skills

  • Mandatory: Strong, hands-on experience in Palantir Foundry (Transformations, Applications, Ontology, Pipelines).
  • Programming: Python, SQL, PySpark
  • Cloud: AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM)
  • Tools: Git, Docker (optional)
  • Core Concepts: Data engineering, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, cloud security.
