Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and finalize various legal documents such as commercial contracts, partnership agreements, property leases, and workforce-related agreements.

• Proactively evaluate legal exposure arising from business activities and recommend preventive measures to minimize potential liabilities.

• Monitor and ensure full legal adherence across the company's activities, including compliance with laws governing freight movement, storage operations, and commercial trade.

• Take ownership of legal conflict management, including coordination with external counsel for dispute resolution, court proceedings, or alternative dispute mechanisms.

• Manage statutory and regulatory obligations, including corporate licensing, permits, and mandatory legal submissions, to safeguard the company's regulatory status.

• Act as a legal advisor to senior management by translating legal considerations into actionable business guidance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing corporate legal roles, preferably supporting logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operationally driven industries.

• In-depth understanding of commercial contracts, employment regulations, transportation laws, and regulatory compliance relevant to logistics operations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance legal prudence and commercial priorities.

• Demonstrated capability in negotiation, risk evaluation, and stakeholder communication.

• Must be fluent in English, and Mandarin is a plus.

• Holds a valid and active PERADI license.
