Job Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for both technical sales and operational transactions for dealer-facing logistics. This role will participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve logistics processes and partnerships and collaborate extensively with sales & marketing functions in other regions across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Propose cost-effective solutions and conduct operational analyses. Develop standard operating procedures (SOP), quality procedures (QP), and work instructions (WI).
  • Continuously assess and improve current and potential business operations. Analyze solutions and support customers with their business needs, providing accurate cost estimates. Recommend the most efficient processes that align with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate internally and externally with various business units, customers, and suppliers to address their needs and propose solutions.
  • Assist the sales and marketing team, business development, and other functions by offering analytical support and business solutions.
  • Create standard operating procedures and documentation to align with Company standards. Lead the implementation of new projects while managing costs effectively.
  • Communicate, evaluate, and recommend necessary changes, facilitating the transition as needed.
  • Provide on-the-job training for operational staff and other business units as required.
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies to enhance the efficiency of transportation and distribution.
  • Mentor logistics personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and responsibility.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics efficiency and drive improvements.
  • Manage the logistics budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet financial objectives.
  • Oversee inventory management processes to maintain accuracy and reduce surplus stock.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies throughout logistics activities.
  • Identify and address operational issues promptly, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management or operations, with a focus on supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  •  Fluency in Chinese and English

Working Hours:

  • Mon - Fri: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch break)
  • Saturday: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
