Purpose of the position:
The main purpose of Operations Policies Development Manager is to provide management, and support to the Operations Policy Development Department. The main goal of the department is to develop and / or update Credo operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms. Regularly amend existing operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms by creating continues development feedback system and control implementation in Service Centers with cooperation of relevant departments.
General Responsibilities:
- Understand and support the Credo philosophy and objectives;
- Do all within his/her ability to meet targets set by supervisor and work unceasingly to enable the organization to meet its goal;
- Conduct all activities in compliance with Credo policies and procedures;
- Demonstrate loyalty to Credo and practice a high level of honesty & integrity.
- Protect the material values of the organization, in accordance with the credo consumption policy;
- Attend information security training and sign information security consent statement (signature confirmation that a breach of any part of the application is considered as a Violation of duties and responsibilities, which causes disciplinary action).
Major Responsibilities:
- Increase staff access to quality assured advice and information;
- Support and encourage the sharing of best practice amongst Service Centers;
- Compile feedback reports for organization, identifying gaps in learning/knowledge and spotting trends which will help feed in to both the training and Performance & Quality processes;
- Manage the process of Exploring existing Operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms acting in the field of credit and retail operations (Credit Policy, Cash-desk and Remittance policies, Lending and non-lending products policies and procedures and related guidelines;
- Diagnoses and provides recommendations for improvement;
- Manage the process of Analyzing Credo Credit and Retail operations; diagnosing gaps and provide recommendations for improvement to management;
- Based on identified gaps and best practices as well as Credo Operations Meetings decisions manage the process of development / update retail Operations and Credit Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms;
- Management of Constant and ongoing update of Credit and retail Operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms in line with the ongoing changes within the organization;
- Manage the process of Analyzing agreements/contracts concluded by Credo with clients in close collaboration with Legal Department; diagnose and provide recommendations for improvement in case of need, as well as supervise implementation of recommended and approved changes;
- Collaborate with relevant departments / units of the organization in the process of policy / procedure / standard / forms development;
- Research, create and implement system of continuous feedback identification of best practices within Credo Service Centre network with regard to operations management;
- Control implementation of approved updates and changes of Credit and Operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms;
- Manage development of testing system in Operational Policy including designing tests for annual attestations of Credo Operational staff (in collaboration with relevant Departments of Credo);
- Any proposed changes / updates in Credit and Operations Manuals / Policies / Procedures / Standards and Forms shall be made only after CEO/CRO approval and instructions;
- Participate in Bank Transition related work group and specific projects create Manuals/ Policies/Procedures in alignment to the NBG Requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of NBG regulations/guidelines related to Credit/Retail Procedures;
- Analytical thinking and good attention to details;
- Understanding of business principles in each area of Credo operations;
- Good understanding of Credo Main Databases;
- Be proactive and self-motivated for development, able to work under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Georgian, Russian and English languages;
- Negotiates with others to achieve the best possible outcome;
- Positive and flexible attitude to work particularly new initiatives;
- Good judgment and ability to work independently including self-motivation;
- Be organized, accurate and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- Skill to encourage others at all times to look for better ways of doing things;
