Responsibilities

  • Identifying any technical issues the project may have
  • Traveling to the project site (building grounds or factory) to ensure everything is going according to plan
  • Updating any logs that track the progress or cost of the project
  • Testing the product or installing the computer system before getting it approved by the client

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Maintaining and monitoring project blueprints, estimations, materials and personnel.

· Organizing, attending and participating in meetings.

· Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

· Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

· Ensuring project deadlines are met.

· Providing administrative support as needed.

· Undertaking project tasks as required.

· Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

· Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

· Ensure management views are managed towards the best solution.

· Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

· Ensures all data placed in the historical database is accurate.

  • · Becomes proficient in all computer software programs used.
  • · Completes work on time in a professional and competitive manner.
  • Communicates effectively with team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • · Strong computer skills including the ability to use software, word processing, spread sheets, bid management and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
  • · Project Engineering experience, construction experience, educational experience or any combination of the three.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • · Local candidates to the San Antonio, TX area are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • · Prior pool or construction experience.
  • · Possess good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • · Able to develop new skills and knowledge quickly.
  • · Resourceful and diligent in seeking solutions to problems and adapting to new situations.
  • · Possess the ability to assist in managing a commercial construction project.
  • · Must be able to view things from an owner/developer’s perspective and present accordingly.
  • · Must be able to work in and/or with an organized team.
