Position: Unit Public Affairs Representative

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the company's brand and image

- Create and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, community organizations, and other stakeholders

- Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials

- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management

- Plan and coordinate company events, such as press conferences and community outreach programs

- Serve as a spokesperson for the company and respond to media inquiries

- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

- Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers

- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify potential PR opportunities

- Assist in crisis communication and reputation management efforts

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in the real estate industry

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in social media platforms and content management systems

- Experience with media monitoring and reporting tools

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- Knowledge of AP Style and press release writing

- Positive attitude and a passion for promoting the company's mission and values
