Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This is a full-time position with potential for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, checks, and other financial documents
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support the accounting team with various tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
