IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's information technology systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems

- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements

- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures

- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Train and support employees on the use of technology systems and software

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers

- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software assets

- Ensure compliance with company security and data protection policies

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or similar role

- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications

- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, Active Directory, and network protocols

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are a plus
