About the job Software Lab
We are looking for a Software Lab“Saudi National” to be responsible for some installation, configuration, and maintenance of software, printers, scanners, and peripherals. Duties include ensuring the security of computers, care of the lab equipment, upkeep of supplies, and providing a smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
Lab management and daily maintenance of the lab. Arrange, set up, and move machines and racks, manage lab layout and space, manage high-value inventory, shipping and receiving of inventory, conduct safety, and security audits, and comply with audit requirements.
Monitoring and maintaining lab facilities, including chilled water system, power busbar, and IT network infrastructure. Monitor facility status, fluid chemistry, and telemetry systems. Coordinate the work with Corporate Services and external vendors to conduct tests of the facilities and fluids, and maintain them to required guidelines and specs, taking corrective actions as needed when facilities are out of spec.
Assist with responsibilities of setting up and maintaining liquid-cooled systems, such as filling and draining liquids, flushing systems, and cooling loops, and adding fluids to maintain flow and pressure.
Mechanically assemble systems. Conduct experiments, upgrade systems, and maintain systems as requested by lab management and lab customers.
Manage the logistics of receiving and tracking many components, sorting and preparing them for assembly into systems, and coordinating the logistics of assembling systems, some of which may be done across multiple Intel sites. May require transporting hardware to other Oregon campuses.
Plan and assist with hardware deployments, coordinating bring-ups and upgrades, and maintaining the environment as needed by the lab customers.
Monitor, report, and communicate usage, load, and performance of systems and facilities.
Provide input to Lab Manager and System Admins to improve efficiency and operations of the lab and the HPC cluster, and improve workflows and methods for maximum utilization of facilities and systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.
5 Years Experience.
Must have an IT background.
Must be Saudi National.
Preferably Male.
Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
